Have Bassinet, Need Baby.

We're ready for Lulu! We don't have diapers but after this past weekend we're about as ready as we can be for Miss Lu's arrival. We set up the bassinet in our room and all we need now is a baby to put in it! We're also finding that the closer we get to the due date the bigger suckers we become. That's how Gertrude the ostrich ended up coming home with us after a stop at our favorite store ever, John Derian.

And now....we wait.

Two Boys and a Boat

Being down on the Bay last week reminded me of my favorite picture that has ever been taken of Senor Rabbit and me. We were on our way to Oxford for crab cake sandwiches and that kid was having the time of his life.....so was this kid.

Ten Days of Fun on the Eastern Shore

We're back from ten wonderful days with family in Easton. Grandma Owings joined us and was there for the beautiful baby shower hosted by Jeanie and Pop.  Thanks to Jeanie for working her magic and pulling together an unforgettable day.  A good time was had by all and we're so thankful for all the amazing gifts for Baby Lulu from friends and family.  It makes us even more excited for her arrival.

Cavan had the time of his life this trip with fun-filled days at TCC camp and the pool, playing aboard the fabulous Eleanor, spending time with Alex and Savannah, driving the beloved golf cart, and of course, seeing museum caliber warbirds and vintage cars up close in a private hangar at the Easton airport.  What an opportunity!  Thanks to Pop for pulling some serious strings to make that happen.

We don't expect everyone to be interested in every minute detail of our lives but we did think a blog would be a good way to share news and photos from our family, especially when our new addition - Baby Lulu - arrives.

We're counting down the days and can't wait to introduce her to her wonderful, amazing family.  She's got a lot of love waiting!
